Questions

Common Questions

What does 24/7 personal care include?

Support with the personal tasks of daily life: showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care, help at mealtimes and medication prompts. If you have high-intensity needs such as bowel care, PEG feeding or catheter care, our trained workers can support these too, following your care plan. We can also come with you to medical and other appointments.

Can I get support overnight?

Yes. We offer active overnight support, where a worker stays awake to assist you through the night, and sleepover support, where a worker is on hand if you need them. We'll help you work out which suits your needs and your plan.

Will my support workers be trained for my needs?

Yes. Every worker is screened and inducted, and we look for workers with the right training for the supports you need. We'll get to know your routine, your preferences and any equipment you use, such as a hoist or shower chair.

Can you support me on weekends and public holidays?

Yes. Personal care is available seven days a week, including public holidays.

Who can use this service?

We support NDIS participants whose funding is self-managed or plan-managed, as well as private clients. Call us to talk through your needs and we'll explain how it works with your plan.
