Common Questions
Can’t see your question here? Give us a call on (08) 9223 1223.
What is recovery coaching?
Recovery coaching is practical, goal-focused support for people living with mental health conditions. Your coach helps you build skills, set and track goals, and connect with the services you need.
How is it different from counselling?
Counselling focuses on talking through thoughts and feelings. Recovery coaching is more hands-on: learning skills, organising supports and working towards goals in everyday life. Some people find the two work well together.
Where do sessions happen?
Wherever suits you best – at home, out in the community or in an office setting.
Is my progress written down?
Yes. We keep notes on your goals and progress, so we can review them together and share updates when they’re needed for your plan review.
Who can use this service?
We support people with self-managed or plan-managed NDIS plans, as well as private clients.
